🇨🇩 DRC: Protesters killed in anti-Kabila protests

At least six people have been killed and several injured following clashes between police and protesters in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The anti-government demonstrations were organised by leaders of the Catholic Church in the country.

They are angry at the delay in holding a presidential election after President Joseph Kabila's final term expired in 2016.

The church had brokered an agreement for presidential elections that were supposed to take place last December, but they never happened.
