Helicopter crashes into southern California house, kills three

Authorities say three people are dead after a small helicopter crashed into a house near a southern California airport. Newport Beach fire Capt. Chip Duncan says it's unclear whether the three were on board the four-seat chopper. There was no fire and it's unclear whether anybody was in the home. The Federal Aviation Administration says the helicopter had taken off from John Wayne Airport. The airport is about a mile from the crash site.
