Ethiopia declares state of emergency after PM quits

A state of emergency has been declared in Ethiopia, a day after the unexpected resignation of Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.

The country has seen a wave of protests, fuelled - at least in part - by ethnic divisions.
