Iran plane crash: All 66 people on board were killed

A passenger flight crashed in a mountainous area near Semirom in Iran's Isfahan Province on Sunday, killing the 66 people on board, according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency citing the country's Emergency Center. The ATR-made plane operated by Iranian carrier Aseman Airlines was reported to have disappeared from radar after taking off from the Iranian capital Tehran on a flight to the city of Yasuj. The semi-official Mehr News Agency reported that emergency crew were being impeded by heavy fog and were trying to get to the crash site by land.
