🇨🇩 Dozens killed in DR Congo's Ituri province| Al Jazeera English

At least 40 people have been killed in inter-ethnic fighting between two communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The violence in the northeastern Ituri province occurred a week after at least 79 people died in fighting between the Hema and Lendu groups.

Millions of people have been uprooted by years of unrest and political instability.

The United Nations is appealing for international donors to help.
