🇸🇾 Eastern Ghouta: Syrian government forces clash with rebels | Al Jazeera English

The third day of a partial ceasefire in Syria's Eastern Ghouta begins in the next few hours.

So far, the daily pause in fighting has provided some relief for the people caught in the conflict in the rebel held enclave.

The five-hour reprieve's meant to allow the sick and injured to leave, and aid to get in.

But now Syrian government troops are reportedly planning a ground assault, and sporadic bombings continue.

Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid reports from Gaziantep in Turkey, near the border with Syria.
